Looking for help with organising your self-guided walk along Hadrian’s Wall?

For the ultimate in comfort and understated elegance, have a look at Farlam Hall Hotel, located in a secluded spot within easy driving distance of Hadrian’s Wall.   Every room is ensuite and individually appointed.   Their Michelin-starred restaurant, the Cedar Tree by Hrishikesh Desai, offers fine dining Wednesday to Saturday evenings.  A more informal dining experience, Bistro Enkel, is open Sundays to Tuesdays.  Both showcase the best local and seasonal produce including use of fresh ingredients from the hotel’s kitchen garden.

Another convenient place to stay for exploring Hadrian’s Wall is Warwick Hall.  This upmarket country house B&B is set in beautiful surroundings overlooking the River Eden.  All the bedrooms are spacious with quality beds, immaculate linen and ensuite bathrooms.  Evening meals available.   Please note that Warwick Hall is a dog-friendly guesthouse.
